I have wanted to build a community retreat for years. Fortunately, I have a husband who is very supportive and has committed to the Farm Life in our new home and business adventure.
My first priority in this new endeavor is to research other Retreats and explore what is successful and what is not. The definition of success in this venture is questioning what brings joy and healing to Self and Others, finding a working integrative model, and creating a financially feasible business. Therapy as the focus is essential and yet it is also important to sustain and be profitable while helping others. I am grateful to have already met some people willing to speak and share their challenges, processes and achievements. As we are all in this life together, I am grateful for connections, knowledge, and support. For anyone who is interested, if you know others who would be willing to help, I'd appreciate it greatly.
So the road is open, and the path is always clear. We choose from what is in front of us.
My invitation to those, most probably in Ohio, who are so inclined to get involved in building a retreat center, to send your ideas. It is in unity that we all find our wholeness.
Thanks,
Sharon
